About PRAYER GARDEN
The Prayer Garden is a place of quiet refuge, a place to sit in prayer and contemplation or just to enjoy the beauty of nature. Over 120 memorial bricks line the path into the garden and around the patio.
Volunteers work to enhance and maintain the garden throughout the year. Responsibilities are for all aspects of caring for the garden as well as the large boxwood planters on the front patio.

HIGHLIGHTS
Duties
Typical duties are planting, including changing the urns for the different seasons, weeding, trimming shrubs, watering, fertilizing, mulching, insect and disease control, maintenance of the fountain and generally keeping the garden neat for all to enjoy.
Ways to Volunteer
There are many ways to volunteer. We need you if you can come once or twice a week or only occasionally. During the hot summer months we especially need volunteers who can water the garden and the boxwood planters on the patio. The fountain needs to be checked regularly for water level. Can you come to check the fountain and add water. Are you knowledgeable about caring for or pruning shrubs and trees or controlling insects and diseases? Can you advise us as needed? We are also searching for Master Gardeners who can join us or serve as consultants Not much time is required.
