Artists Rendering of Church.BMP - View of the Church from the rectory C17 Sacred Heart Statue.jpg - Originally in the niche of the Reredos, the Sacred Heart statue will be placed in the transept opposite the Baptistry. C30 Stations of the Cross.jpg - We anticipate repurposing stations from a historic church; one possibility is in Fitchberg, Mass.  These stations are beautifully carved and painted.  Of historical note as well Ė a St. Johnís parishioner was baptized and raised in this parish.  This picture is the 12th Station depicting the crucifixion with Mary and John at the foot of the cross. C35 Baptismal Font.JPG - Our existing Baptismal Font will be refurbished.  This Baptismal Font is the original font used in the Little Church. D18 Shrine.jpg - The Mary statue is situated in a mosaic and carved marble shrine, placed on an all marble pedestal containing a large carved marble relief of the Annunciation. The shrine will be located prominently just to the left of the sanctuary. This shrine was one of five major elements of sacred furnishings commissioned for Sacred Heart of Vailsburg and created and marked by the Daprato Co.

D19b St Josephs Shrine.jpg - The Statue of St. Joseph is situated in a mosaic and carved marble shrine, placed on an all marble pedestal containing a large carved marble relief depicting Joseph's death. The shrine will be located prominently just to the right of the sanctuary. This shrine was one of five major elements of sacred furnishings commissioned for Sacred Heart of Vailsburg and created and marked by the Daprato Co. D2 Reredos.jpg - The Reredos comes from Sacred Heart Church in Vailsburg, NJ. Bishop Fulton Sheen officiated at the dedication of Sacred Heart. The items being repurposed from Sacred Heart were made by Italian craftsman in the 1920ís for Daprato of Chicago, New York, and Pietrasanta, Italy.  A Reredos is an architectural element which unifies the tabernacle, altar and crucifix.

Colonnade of six columns wrap around the sides of the altar, as Christ reaches out from the tabernacle to embrace the community. This beautiful work of art is made of Algerian onyx. D52-Vestige Storage Cabinetry.jpg - The Sacristy will have one of the classic old vesting cabinets obtained from Sacred Heart of Vailsburg. This solid oak and poplar wood cabinet is almost 12 feet long and is being refurbished by furniture craftsmen. It will be placed in the front wall of the Sacristy. Pipe Organ.jpg - Daffer Organs of Jessup, MD is working the design layout and will install the organ.  The selected organ is 42 Ranks, 3 Manuals by Wicks (made in USA), Opus 5873.
